Angela Stephanie Fischer, 65, of Mountain View, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 13, 2025, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was born on November 15, 1959, to H.A. and Faye Marie (Davis) Frunk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Angela grew up and attended school in Oklahoma City. She worked in the kitchen at the Mountain View Nursing Home, where she first met the love of her life, Sidney, who was a CNA. They were united in marriage on March 30, 2005, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mountain View, Oklahoma.
Angela dedicated over 20 years to working at Hop-N-Sack in Mountain View, where she became known as the best sandwich maker around. Her warm smile, quick wit, and giving heart made her a favorite among customers and community members alike. Many lovingly knew her as "Momma Angie" or "Miss Angie," names that reflected the care and kindness she showed to everyone she met-especially the local school kids who adored her. She had a special gift for making people feel like family, always ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement.
Angela was known as the best secret keeper around-but one secret she never revealed was her famous stuffing and dressing recipe, a cherished family mystery that remains unsolved to this day.
She was a devoted, loving, and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She found joy in cooking for her loved ones, crafting, and creating diamond art. Her faith, generosity, and the love she poured into others will be remembered always.
Angela will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Fischer, of Mountain View, Oklahoma;
Two sons:
• Steven Snapp and wife, Mary, of Mountain View, Oklahoma
• Kenneth Fischer and wife, Stephanie, of San Antonio, Texas
Five daughters:
• Stephanie Spano and husband, Anthony, of Land O' Lakes, Florida
• Susian York and husband, Pedy, of Mountain View, Oklahoma
• Christina Frunk, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
• Laci Morris and husband, Brad, of Tampa, Florida
• Erin Lantz and husband, Matthew, of Clinton, Oklahoma
She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her niece, Becky Frunk, and nephew, James Frunk, along with several cousins and many dear friends who loved her like family.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Faye Marie Frunk and H.A. Frunk; brother, Ricky Frunk; aunt, Lillie Bottom; and uncles, Carol Bottom and Donald George
