Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mrs. Angela Shillinglaw Fischesser, 74, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her home.
The grave side service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4690 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Steve Ackerman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Fischesser was the daughter of the late John Preston Shillinglaw and the late Elsie Wright Shillinglaw. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott Fischesser. She was a homemaker, who devoted her life to her family. She was a member of First ARP Church, Rock Hill where she served as a deacon and a member of Women of The Church. She was a member of York County Rape Crisis Council and The Pink Ladies of Piedmont Medical Center. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister whom will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Fischesser is survived by her husband, Chris Fischesser; two sons, Chip (Julie) Fischesser of Charleston, SC, Scott (Laura) Fischesser of Rock Hill, SC; her daughter, Amber F. Graham of Rock Hill; her brother, John Preston (Stella) Shillinglaw of Houston, TX; six grandsons, Jake, Michael, Shane, Henry, Jayden and Ian; two granddaughters, Kelsey and Maddie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Angela Fischesser's name to First ARP Church Music Fund, 201 East White Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730 or Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance – OCRA, ocrahope.org.
