Angela K. Goellner

Angela K. Goellner (Spellman), 54, of Virginia Beach, VA, peacefully passed away on 29 October 2024 surrounded by loved ones, after an extended medical battle.
Angela was born on July 22, 1970, to Virgil and Linda Spellman (Richter) in Kearney, Nebraska. Angela was born and raised in Nebraska, graduating from Kearney Catholic High School in 1988.
In 1991, she met the love of her life and married Joseph Goellner. Joe and Angie were married for over 33 years and were the proud parents of Andrew Spellman. They also had three grandchildren, Adelyne, Rory, and Emry.
Angie worked most of her adult life in Child Care, culminating at the Dam Neck Naval Child Development Center in Virginia Beach prior to her extended illness.
Angie was predeceased by her mother, Linda, her sister Annette, and her brother Robbie. She is survived by her husband, Joseph, her son Andrew and his wife Elle, her three grandchildren Adelyne, Rory, and Emry, her father, Virgil, and brother Michael.
Services will be held at Hollomon-Brown Princess Anne Chapel on November 7th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park (on the same grounds). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Susan G. Komen, a nonprofit organization Angie was passionate about.
