Angela Lorton Obituary

Angela Lee Lorton
St. Louis - Angela Lee Lorton, also known as Angie, peacefully passed away on September 23, 2023, at 11:25 a.m. In St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 60. She was born on May 12, 1963, in Jacksonville, Illinois, to her loving mother Mary Admire and late father Perry Crowley Sr.
Angie was a woman of kindness and devotion, as a dedicated wife to Kenyon Lorton of 20 years while embracing her role as a mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. She found comfort in the simple pleasures of life, particularly sitting on her porch, overlooking the sprawling and picturesque pastures of their family farm while admiring the abundance of hummingbirds that frequented her numerous feeders. She enjoyed Drama and True Crime shows although, her greatest joy came from moments spent engaging in heartfelt conversations and video chats with her grandchildren on the phone, which ensured an eyelevel look into their experiences and love for her.
In addition to her beloved husband and mother, Angie leaves behind a legacy of family and treasured relationships. Survived by her siblings, Perry Crowley and James Admire. She will be forever remembered as a pillar of strength and love through her children: Justin Painter, Daniel Roegge, Brittany Lorton-Owens, Berit Lorton-Shipley and as a devoted grandmother to Kolten, Cash, Timothy, Logan, Mila and Brock.
A celebration of Angie's life will be held in her honor. Details of the event will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, for further information, we kindly request that you reach out to the family directly. Alternatively, you may contact her son, Justin at (217) 883-2062 or her loving daughter, Brittany, at (217) 602-8854.
Angie served as a beacon of love and compassion in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever resonate as a symbol of strength. In this time of mourning, may we find solace in the knowledge that her soul now rests in eternal peace.

I went to high school with Angie, and she was one of the nicest and most down to earth people I've known. Such a kind soul. May she rest in peace. Peace and blessings to her family and friends.

I have known Angie since she was a baby. She was a sweet and beautiful child. I was able to see her a few years ago while I was in Jacksonville with her cousin Cindy Crowley Allen.
I have precious memories of her, Cindi and Bubby Joe together. My deepest sympathy.

I really enjoyed the time when you boys and your mother lived across the street from me. She worked very hard to provide for you both. I remember her ringing the bell when it was time for you to be inside. She loved you with all her heart. She was a very proud grandmother too. I am so sorry for your loss.
