Angela Lanette (Isbell) Pegues was born on Tuesday, November 24, 1964, in Talladega, Alabama, to Ruthie L. (Isbell) Love and the late Robert L. "Pete" Dye, Sr., who preceded her in death in January 1999.

Angela graduated from Jackson Public Schools' Alternative School in 1986. Throughout her life, she worked as a home health aide, providing exceptional care to those she served as though they were her own family. She loved to shop, dress beautifully, and she had a special talent for interior decorating, making every space she touched feel warm and inviting. She also enjoyed cheering on the New England Patriots and her beloved Alabama Crimson Tide - ROLL TIDE!

Angela worshipped with the Church of God in Jackson, Michigan, and continued her devoted membership after relocating to Columbus, Georgia, where she lived for the past 24 years.

Angela fiercely loved her family and maintained daily contact with many loved ones. She was a dreamer with a determined spirit and never settled for anything less than her heart's truest desires.

Angela passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. "Pete" Dye Sr.; her paternal grandparents, Mary Ruth Dye and Willie B. Dye; her maternal grandparents, Helen Isbell and Fred Isbell; her paternal uncles, Marvin "Oogie" Dye, Sr. and Bobby Dye; and her aunt, Sarah Dye (wife of Marvin Sr.).

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Ruthie L. (Augustus) Love of Jackson, Michigan; her siblings, Robert Dye, Jr. of Jackson, Michigan, Bridget Dye of Kalamazoo, Michigan, O'Neal Willliams of Talladega, Alabama, Tyree Dye of Jackson, Michigan, and Monique Dye of Birmingham, Alabama; her adored nieces and nephews, Rayisha Dye, Nicole Martin, Robert Dye III, Quynterra (Arriel) Haven-Ampey, Rasierra Dye, Cree Dye and Devon Glenn, Jr.; along with 10 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Angela is further survived by her adopted dad, Paul Cooke; her godmother, Davetta Johnson Hunt, and the Johnson family; her special aunt, Dorothy Thompson, and the Thompson family; and her godchildren Ashley, Star, Michael, Dayshara, Tamara, and Alex.

Angela will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
