Greece: Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at age 89.
Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Aldo Ritondale; parents, Salvatore and Angelina (LaLoggia) Salvia; son, Alphonse Ritondale; son-in-law, Robert Continelli; siblings, Frank Salvia, Charles Salvia, Mary Pronti, and Frances Cupido; along with several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Angie is survived by her devoted daughters, Judy Continelli and Diana (Steve) MacLean; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Ritondale; grandchildren Lisa Continelli, Bob Continelli, Matt MacLean, Stephen MacLean, Eric MacLean (fiancé Raquel Redman), Augustine Ritondale and Tyler Ritondale; sister Linda Gangemi; several nieces and nephews.
Angie was born in Rochester, NY, on September 25, 1936. She married Aldo Ritondale on May 18, 1957, and together they had three children: Judy, Diana, and Al.
She worked in the men’s department at McCurdy's and Sears for several years. She enjoyed interacting with customers and helping them find the perfect shirt and tie combination.
Angie’s greatest joy was being with her family, whether it was for Sunday dinner or a holiday gathering. She would always prepare a feast, including her homemade sauce, pasta, chicken cutlets, and desserts.
She was an avid baker and was known for making the best Italian cookies, often with recipes passed down by her mother. Anyone who had the pleasure of tasting them knew how special they were. She took great pride in her baking and truly enjoyed sharing her cookies with family, neighbors, and friends!
Angie will be remembered for her caring nature, generosity, and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed and remembered by those who love her.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful nurses, staff, and hospice care team at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for the compassionate care, dignity, and kindness they gave Angie.
Services were held privately for the family.
