Angelina Nava

Angelina "Angie" Nava, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the age of 73 on May 9, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Ramon Nava, children Alejandra Doyle, Patricia Diaz, Jacqueline Meek, John-Paul Nava; sons-in-law Matt, Enrique, Collin, Tim; grandchildren Matthew, Xander, John Connor; sisters Rosie, Sonia; niece Cindy and many other beloved nieces and nephews, and her dog, Coco. Angelina was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on October 20, 1942. She moved to California at the age of 22 where she worked, married, and had her children. Angelina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She always took care of others before herself. She loved caring for and helping others by donating to multiple causes to benefit children and animal shelters. A mass will be held at St. Francis Church in Vista on Tuesday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following will be a graveside burial at Eternal Hills in Oceanside, CA.
