Angelina Malavé Vega passed away peacefully at the age of 98. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Angelina lived a life defined by strength, dignity, and determination. She forged a remarkable path for women of her time, building a proud career as an Accounting Clerk for the Army/Air Forces Exchange Services for the U.S. Government in Fort Dix, New Jersey before retiring after 20 years. She then returned to work as a bus aide for the Burlington County Children with Disabilities Program also in New Jersey. Her dedication and professionalism left a lasting example for all who knew her.
Angelina will be forever remembered as a woman of beautiful heart, great character, resilience, and grace. She is survived by her son, Victor, and daughter, Sonya along with four grandchildren, Dawn, Ralph, Stephen and Yvette, great grandchildren Caleb, Hannah, and Emma, and one great-great grandson, Oliver.
The family will honor Angelina's life at a Celebration of Life tribute ceremony on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at The DeLand Wesleyan Church, 250 N. Hill Avenue, DeLand, Florida at Noon.
