It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelo Joseph Corbo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully departed this life on October 11, 2025, in Margate, Florida.
Born on July 19, 1932, in Mount Vernon, New York, Angelo was the cherished son of Antonio Corbo and Jennie Gerarde Corbo. In 1957, he married the love of his life, Elaine Masucci Corbo, and together they had two sons. They were blessed to share
sixty-eight wonderful years of marriage.
Angelo was proudly a Korean War Veteran. He had a passion for golf and continued to play at the remarkable age of ninety-three, even achieving two holes-in-one.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Corbo; his sons, Anthony Corbo and Steven Corbo; his daughter-in-law, Stacy Corbo; and his grandson, Ricky Corbo, whom he loved dearly and who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Vincent Corbo, of Thornwood, New York; his godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Angelo will be remembered for his tender heart, great sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh, his creative artistic talents, and bright spirit. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A Comittal Service with Military Honors will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
To honor Angelo's life and service, the family asks that, instead of flowers or gifts, donations be made to the The Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation in his memory. Please visit https://koreanwarvetsmemorial.org/ to contribute.
May his soul rest in eternal peace
