I tried before this judge. He was fair, honest, and pleasant, all at the same time. He will be greatly missed.

I write on behalf of the Alumni Office of Saint Joseph´s University. We offer our condolences at this time of mourning to all in the family of Angelo J. Foglietta and to all of his friends. As he is a graduate of St. Joseph´s University in the class of 1972 , Angelo´s name will be recorded in the Memorial Book in our University Chapel. The names of our deceased graduates, students, friends and family members are kept in this book for a year. At each of the University Masses they share in the prayers offered for the deceased. We regret that we are unable to offer condolences in person.

Huey and I grew up in the old neighborhood. His candor and professionalism stayed with him throughout his career. We had enjoyably conversations about his various hunting trips. Now he will be watching us in the BIG tree stand in the sky. God Bless You

I am heart- broken. Hughie (I always spelled it Huey) and I go back more than 40 years having shared so many special times together. The stories, now memories, will always put a smile on my face. Compassionate, fun- loving, smart, conscientious and loyal are just a few of his notable traits that come to mind. To me, he was a very dear friend, confidante and brother. To his loving family, I offer my deepest condolences. Huey will be forever missed. May his memory be a blessing. Love ya, bro!

Judge Foglietta was a good man. I had a jury trial with him and his inupt as the judge presiding over the jury trial was extremely helpful. He liked being a judge. He recently ruled on a Summary Judgment motion in a case of mine. He was a decent man through and through. He will be missed.

I was his Court Officer and working with him was a pleasure. He loved what he did and he was true to his path. He was kind and made everyone laugh. I will miss him and have him in my prayers.

Ang was a good guy with a great sense of humor. He served our City well with integrity and diligence as a Common Pleas Court Judge. Honored to have been his colleague. May he rest in peace.

Hughie was a good man. Loved our days at Palumbo Playground. He was one of my first baseball coaches. God bless you in heaven, my friend. Prayers and comfort to your brothers and all your family.

RIP Hughie. 40 years of friendship that turned into a partnership, then a campaign and then you reaching your goal of taking the bench. I will fondly cherish our memories, laughs, fights, drinks and true respect and love for one another. I will miss you dearly. Our picture of your 1st day on the bench hangs in my office. Rest easy, my friend.

We are very sad to hear of Hughie's passing. We are in Arizona and cannot make the funeral, but wanted the family to know how much we cared for Hughie. We last saw him at the memorial for the late Angelo Scaricamazza. He was kind enough to provide the courtroom and preside over the ceremony. I didn't get to serve with him on the Court, but by all accounts he was known to be a fair, hard-working and very competent judge. We send our deepest condolences to the family.
