A Funeral service for Angie Springer Gilbert, 74, of Hartselle, will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Pressnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The burial will be at Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Angie Gilbert was born on January 21, 1950, to Oneal and Jewel Springer in Limestone County Alabama. She died on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Angie Gilbert was a selfless mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. She lived to serve others, especially by cooking for them. She was a member of the Flint Church of Christ, and she was the perfect example of a Godly woman to all of those around her. Angie was the president of the Women's Scholarship Club, whose mission was to help girls go to college. She loved to spend time with her friends and family in any way that she could, and she will be dearly missed by everyone. Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death her parents, brother Glen Springer, and her sister Marcia Moebes.

Husband: Earl Gilbert
Son: Joshua Gilbert (Sherry)
Three Daughters: Stephanie Montgomery (Tad), Lori Wallace (Mickey), and Mary Reese (Marty)
Brother: Kenneth Springer
Sister: Beverly Flakes (Wade)
Five Grandchildren: Brylee Meadows (William), Hunter Montgomery, Macie Harbin (John Michael), Lily Reese, and Wilder Reese.
Great Grandchild: Stratton Meadows
A host of Nieces and Nephews
Two Sister-in-Laws: Denise Kelly and Deb Springer
Pallbearers will be Hunter Montgomery, Wilder Reese, William Meadows, John Michael Harbin, Morgan Flakes, and Mathew Flakes.
