Angie "Nanny" Miller, age 58, of Rutherfordton, NC, went Home to be with the Lord Monday, August 25, 2025.

A native of Rutherford County, Angie was the daughter of the late Billy Bailey and Jeanette Bailey. Angie took the titles of sister, wife, mother, and Nanny very seriously. She could usually be found in the kitchen cooking. She was a servant at heart. Thrift store shopping was a favorite past time. Angie loved spending time with her grandchildren and catering to her family. Angie's love for others was always shown and her love was unconditional. Finding the good in others was a talent of hers.

Left to cherish Angie's memory is her husband of 34 years, Robbie "Ronnie" Miller, mother-in-law, Katie Lowdermilk (Kevin), her children, Jared Toms (Emily), Amanda Burgess (Clayton), Megan West (Reid), Dylan Miller (Madalyn), Kayla Miller, Gabriel Miller, four sisters, Sherry Jackson (Elliot), Karen Alley, Jennifer Ruppe (Greg), Latasha Barnette, one brother, Curtis Hardin (Donna), nine grandchildren, Graydon, Mason, Grantlee, Laney, Lydia, Wyatt, Lawson, Kellan, and Annie. Angie also fostered numerous foster children and was an honorable mother figure for countless young adults in our community.

The funeral service will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 with Reverend Scott Moneyham officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends after the interment in the parking lot at the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church, 1541 Harris Holly Springs Church Rd. Rutherfordton, NC 28139. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
