Angie Melaine Wainright Williams passed away peacefully Thursday morning , April 18, 2024, at her home in Statesboro. Born in Nahunta, GA, her parents were James L. “Jim” and Florence E. Wainright. Angie was a devoted believer and follower of Jesus Christ and a member of First Baptist Church of Statesboro. She was a loving wife to her husband Ted and mother to her two children, Ross and Rachel. Angie was a graduate of Georgia Southern (BBA - MIS 1988) and worked as an IT Business Analyst until retiring from the Bulloch County School System. She was an auxiliary member of the Gideons International Bulloch County Camp. She enjoyed Bible teaching, gardening, reading, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Ted Williams, son, Ross Williams, daughter, Rachel Williams and fiance Taylor Callahan, brother, Rev. James Wainright and his wife, Mona Jean Wainright, sister, Gail Turner and many nieces and nephews.
