Anita Beaulieu

Anita Ann Beaulieu, age 40, of Mahnomen, MN, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.
Born on January 2, 1985, to Robert "Bob" Beaulieu and Vanessa Maskewit, Anita grew up with an adventurous spirit and a heart full of kindness. She spent much of her early life in the Minneapolis area before moving to northern Minnesota to be closer to family. Anita was proud to have earned her GED and spent several years caring for others while working at the Bemidji Nursing Home.
Anita was a free spirit, drawn to new places and good energy. She never stayed in one place for too long, always eager to meet new people and embrace life's adventures. From a young age, she shared a special bond with her father, tinkering on cars and learning the art of mechanics. She had a knack for fixing things and enjoyed scrapping metal.
With a warm and magnetic personality, Anita was the life of any gathering. She had a way of making people laugh, lighting up rooms with her humor and charm. In recent years, she found joy in perfecting different makeup techniques. More than anything, Anita had a generous soul-she loved helping others in any way she could.
Anita is survived by her sisters, Christina Thomas and Evelynn Maskewit; brothers, Kris Beaulieu and Rob Beaulieu; grandmother, Esther; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Anita was preceded by her parents and her grandparents.
An all-night Wake Service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex and continue until the time of the Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Sports Complex.
