HIGHGATE SPRINGS - Clarice E. Beaulieu, age 92, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls.
She was born in Franklin on August 12, 1933, to the late Leonel & Maria (Raymond) Loiselle. Clarice embodied the values of hard work, resilience, and creativity throughout her life.
Clarice married Lawrence Beaulieu on September 18, 1952, and together they ran the family's dairy farm for many years. Clarice was a cherished matriarch, lovingly known to her family and friends for her warm heart and culinary prowess. Her pickled eggs, soups, and wild game dinners were family favorites, and she delighted in crafting her own dandelion wine, showcasing her ingenuity and passion for home-cooked meals. There was little she could not turn into a delicious feast.
As an enthusiastic community member, Clarice enjoyed socializing with friends on weekends, always dressing with a touch of class. She found joy in gardening, golfing, puzzles, shooting pool and, in her younger years, sewing. A faithful member of the Church of the Nativity and the Ladies of St. Anne, Clarice contributed to her community with grace and devotion, leaving a lasting impact on those lucky enough to know her.
Clarice is survived by her children, Pauline Bertrand and her husband Francis of Franklin, Helen Maskell and her husband Jim of Highgate Springs, Robert Beaulieu of Highgate Springs, Carol Cushing and her husband Allen of Milton, and Guy Beaulieu and his significant other Christi Collins of Milton; grandchildren, Craig, Corey, Chris, Katie, Kelly, Lauren, Cole, Sean, Corey, Bridget, Jamie, Myra, Beau, Claire, and Lydia; 24 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Clarice was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Beaulieu; grandson, Chad Bertrand; and siblings, Maurice Loiselle, Roger Loiselle, Rejeanne Bouchard, Murielle Croteau, and Raymond Loiselle.
Clarice's family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Jeanne Rainville for the love and care offered to her over the past several years.
Friends and family are invited to Clarice's Life Celebration to include a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Nativity, 65 Canada St., Swanton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Swanton.
