BURLINGTON - Randy A. LaBarron, age 62, passed away on October 20th, 2025, with his loving family by his side at the UVM Medical Center.
He was born on December 6th, 1962, in Montpelier VT, to the late Fred and Dorothy (Lane) LaBarron.
As a jack of all trades, Randy embraced the hard work of the outdoors, nurturing a spirit that found joy in the beauty of nature. He had a particular passion for deer hunting, proudly recalling the thrilling day he shot a magnificent 10-point Vermont buck weighing 199 lbs. - an accomplishment that he loved to share with friends and family.
When he wasn't out in the woods, you could find Randy feeding his birds, going for rides, or simply enjoying a few cold beers with his sons and his friends, talking about the upcoming hunting season and some of his memories of his hunting adventures. He was known for his daily check-ins with his boys, Shawn and Kyle, who he was so proud of. Randy's spirit was infectious, drawing people together for good times filled with stories. He will be missed but warmly remembered for his larger-than-life personality.
Randy is survived by his children, Shawn LaBarron and his wife Brandy and Kyle LaBarron and his fiancé Sarah Guyette; grandchildren, Remington, and Faith; great granddaughter, Mikinsley; siblings, Brian LaBarron, Bruce LaBarron and his twin sister, Ruth Youngman and her husband Kevin; niece, Bridgette Mobbs.
