Anita Martins Obituary
Naugatuck - Anita Martins, 76, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of Joseph Martins.
Mrs. Martins was born July 14, 1948, in Germany, the daughter of the late Conrad and Eva Steinbrecher. She was a longtime resident of Naugatuck, coming to the U.S in 1967. Before her retirement in the early 1990s, she was employed by Deluxe Check Printing.
Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by her children, Dianne Naylor, Joseph Martins, Dawn Patturelli, Manuel Martins and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; her sister, Hannelore Bryant; and her niece, Conny Niedermeier. She was predeceased by a grandchild.
Arrangements – A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, by mail at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or online.
