Our mother, Anita Kay Ramsey Rexrode, 76, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, to join our dad for eternity.
She was born on July 26, 1949, in Greenville to the late Harold “Shorty” Houston and Gladys Virginia Schultz Ramsey. She spoke of her love for them often.
Later she met and married our dad, Larry B. Rexrode.
She is survived by her son, Casey Joe Rexrode; her daughter, Kendell Laine Rexrode; her grandson, and Cayden Matthew Rexrode, who joined our family, and we are thankful.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bird Rexrode; and her brother, James Douglas Ramsey, Sr.
Mom will be laid to rest next to our dad at Green Hill Cemetery in Monterey, Virginia.
All services will be private.
