Dear Aunt Anita,
We were the closest as any Aunt and Niece could be. We were once best friends. You used to tell me how I took away your birthday when I was born because mine was 2 days before yours and I would tell you that you could never lie about your age because we were exactly 20 years apart. You were a second mother to me. We were each other´s favorite person. You were my favorite Aunt and I was your favorite Niece. You took me everywhere with you. I slept over your house almost every month growing up. I lived with you for 3 months while Grandma, My Mom, Bill, Frankie & Michael while still were transitioning from Brooklyn to Staten Island. We went out to Bars together after I turned 21, so I can be your designated driver. I had you in my life for 33 years. Always together for Birthdays and Holidays. Watching you and My Mom sing together in school plays and cabarets. Even going to work with you on Saturday´s and helping out at Bill´s store. Going to Seagate beach together in the summer. We used to be inseparable and I´ll never understand why you stopped talking to me. I used to wonder why, but then I knew I had to move on. I´m very grateful that you found happiness and love with Lucy and Jeff. I will treasure the memories we had together. You will be missed greatly. I will love you always and forever. Until we meet again. Say Hi to Grandma & Grandpa for me. I love you all.
Love your Niece,
Antoinette

To My Dear Sister Anita,
I cannot believe that you are gone. You were my baby sister and I loved you so very much. We used to be extremely close, but then we weren´t. Even though I reached out to you through the years without a response, I can always say I´ve tried. I´m so sorry that God took you to soon from this earth, but I find comfort in knowing that you found love with Jeff. I was absolutely devastated when I found out that you passed away, but I was happy when you came to me in my dream the night you passed. Now, you are with Mommy and Daddy and they have their favorite girl with them. If anyone is with Jesus, it would be you. I will miss you the rest of my life and I will see you soon. Love you forever and always your Sister, Denise
