Mrs. Ann Carroll Anthony, 86, of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon EST Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Seth Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EST, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anthony was born February 11, 1939 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Andrew D. Carroll and Willie Lee McCutcheon Carroll. She enjoyed sewing and gospel music. However, above all, she loved caring for her family and cherished the time she got to spend with them.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marion Raymond Anthony; a sister, Juanita Struble and three brothers, James Carroll, Robert Carroll and Durwood Carroll.
She is survived by three daughters, Angela Welch and husband Burrell, Alissa Brooks and Andrea Jewett; three sons, Tim Anthony and wife Emily, Jeff Anthony and wife Sandra and Todd Anthony and wife Courtney; two brothers, Floyd Carroll and wife Mack and Tommy Carroll and wife Lynell; grandchildren, Jeremy Welch (Katie), Jessica Welch, Eli Brooks (Kayla), Ethan Smart, Rowan Smart, Lauren Jewett, Austin Anthony (Megan), Carson Anthony (Chelsea), Maegen Hall, Tabitha Holmes (Chris), Lacey Gonzales (Danny), Cole Anthony, Aiden Anthony, and Cameron Locklar; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
