Ann Page (Wilkerson) Ayers, 86, passed away on April 7, 2024. Born on October 15, 1937 to the late Robert Henry and Hattie Clifton Wilkerson, she was raised in Washington, DC and graduated from Cardoza Senior High School in 1955. She enjoyed her 36 years working for a variety of agencies within the Federal Government. When Ann retired in 1992, she began giving back to her community by volunteering with the Widowed Persons Service, teaching adults to read, and serving on the Ladies Sodality at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Landover Hills. Ann loved reading, traveling, listening to music, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Ann was a devoted mom, a dutiful sister, a fun-loving aunt, a dedicated godmother, and a loyal friend. She was predeceased by Talmadge C. Page, her husband of 14 years; William E. Ayers, Sr., her husband of 21 years; her parents; her brothers, Robert Wilkerson and Theodore Wilkerson; her close friend, Rachel Cox; and her grandson, Mark Jeffries. Her memory will continue to be cherished by her sister, Bernice Ingram; three sons, T. Clifton Page, David Page (Tonya), and Julian Ayers, Sr. (Julie); three grandsons, Julian, Jr. (Elizabeth), Joel, and Jason Ayers; a granddaughter, Erika Bentley; a great-grandson, Julian, III; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to visitation at 10:00 AM and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 15, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1283 Odenton Road, Odenton, MD 21113. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg Road, NE, Washington, DC 20002.
