Marjorie "Ann" Walton Bell, age 81, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed away on April 26, 2025, at Gentle Hands Hospice in Chattanooga. She was born on November 25, 1943, in Bremen, the daughter of the late Jasper Walton and Jeanette Bryan Walton. She worked as an accountant for over 40 years at Fairfield Plantation and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gordon Harry Bell; brothers Rev. Asbury Walton and his wife Eleanor Walton, and Kenneth Walton and his wife Linda Walton.
Survivors include her children; Andy and Elceda Bell of Harrison, Tennessee, Steve Bell of Covington, Georgia; a sister, Dorothy and Wayne Whitton of Bremen; grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Bell of Harrison, Tennessee, Bethany and Dustin Harmon of Harrison, Tennessee, Zeke Bell of Covington, Georgia, Silas Bell of Monticello, Georgia; and one great-grandchild, Bristol Harmon.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Matthew Bell, Zeke Bell, Casey Walton, Dustin Harmon, Silas Bell, and David Whitton will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
