Ann Bond, age 85, formerly of Ovid/Hector died at Riverview Manor in Owego on January 21, 2026.
Ann was born in Seneca Falls on April 17, 1940, the only daughter of John A. and Agnes (nee Steen) Zammett. She attended Ovid High School and was married at a young age, moving to California and then back to Hector. She had worked for Babcock Poultry and then Cayuga Medical Center as a dietary aide. She later moved to Binghamton where she lived until her death.
She is survived by her grandchildren; Lisa and Lewis, her brothers; James and Rick Zammett of Ovid. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter; Carol McBride and grandson, Tony McBride and brother, John “Jack” Zammett.
