Ann I. Bowlin

Gowrie – Ann I. Bowlin 83, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Grandview Care Center in Dayton. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lohrville, with Father Lynn Bruch officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial of casket will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie, with a Vigil for the deceased at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Ann I. (Driscoll) Bowlin was born April 22, 1934. A transplant from New York, Ann loved Iowa. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carter and best friend of 46 years; and her son Michael Bowlin. Ann is survived by her daughter Irene McDermott and "Son"-in-law Greg; her grandson and pride and joy, Liam McDermott; along with 2 brothers David and Stephen. She will be greatly missed.
