Ann E. Brook (nee Schmuki) May 11, 1931 – November 29, 2025

Ann E. Brook passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, surrounded by the love and support of her family, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Don Brook and the cherished daughter of Ernest and Margaret (nee Brandt) Schmuki.

Ann lived a life centered around family, kindness, and dedication. She graduated from high school and worked as a receptionist at a car dealership until the birth of her first child. From then on, she devoted herself to her home and the people she loved. She took great pride in caring for her husband and children, creating a home where everyone felt welcomed and supported. Ann was also a loyal friend who valued the people in her life deeply.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Larry (Kathy) Brook and Kathy (Joe) Roets; her grandchildren, Scott Brook, Mary (Joe) Plouff, Lisa (Ryan) Garvy, Joe (Amy) Roets, and Elizabeth Roets; and her great-grandchildren, Catherine Plouff, Evelyn Roets, and Aiden and Bennett Garvy. She is also survived by step-grandchildren Matt (Kear) Harris and Becky (Darrell) Bittner, and step-great-grandchildren Drew, Max, and Katie Harris. Further survived by extended family and friends who were important to her.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents; her siblings; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and her grandson, Paul Brook.

Services for Ann will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church (818 N. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186) on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until the start of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately after Services at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made in Ann's memory to a charity of your choosing.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to all who supported Ann in recent years, especially the teams at Care-Age of Brookfield and Badger Hospice, for their kindness and care.
