Ann M. Bruff (nee Whitlock), age 101, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025 at her assisted living facility in Voorhees, NJ. Born in Carneys Point, NJ, on September 24, 1923, Ann lived in Philadelphia before settling and raising her family first in the Fairview section of Camden, NJ, and later in Collingswood, NJ.
Ann is predeceased by her husband, John R. Bruff, a World War II veteran, whom she married on November 3, 1945 at St. Anthony of Padua Chapel in Camden, NJ. She also is predeceased by her seven siblings.

Ann is survived by her son, John (Jane), of Milton, DE; her daughter, Jane Kowalski (Ron), of Rocky Mount, NC; and her son, Gary (Liz Ingraham), of Collingswood, NJ. She was a beloved "mom mom" to five grandchildren. Her living legacy also includes seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A homemaker for most of her life, Ann was quick with a joke, was an avid card player, and maintained a dear circle of friends throughout her life. She loved to bake, and her creations nourished family and friends during the holidays, birthdays, and family dinners. Prior to her marriage, she was employed at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard during World War II. After raising her children and the death of her husband in 1984, she worked in the gift shop at Virtua Hospital in Marlton, NJ, from which she retired.
Ann will be interred at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken, NJ, in a private ceremony, to rest beside her husband.
