Ann Corso Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ramsey Funeral Home & Crematorium on May 23, 2024.
Ann Corso, lovingly known as Numi, was born on September 24, 1956, in McAllen, Texas, to her hardworking and loving parents, Joe Vincent Corso and Shirley Johnson. She peacefully passed away after a short battle with cancer on May 12, 2024, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones.
Ann's life was filled with joy and laughter. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, cherishing the company of her beloved dogs and being the heart of her tight-knit family through her delicious food and infectious laughter. Nothing brought her more happiness than being a wonderful mother and Numi to her grandchildren.
Ann proudly graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979, WHOOP!, which she cherished and celebrated throughout her life. After embarking on a career as a middle school teacher for many years, her passion for real estate led her to become a successful local realtor and downtown business owner. She was a pillar of the community that she held dear to her heart.
Ann will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy as a loving mother, devoted Numi, and active community member will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Gary Brown of Georgetown, her two children that she was so proud of, Katy Bohls and Joe Vajdak of Georgetown, her step daughter Sadie Brown of Taylor, Texas, her brother and his wife, Joe and June Corso of Kerrville, Texas, her sister-in-law, Suzanne Corso of McAllen, Texas, and the grandchildren she held so dear, Graham Bohls and Harper Vajdak.
There will be a celebration of Ann's wonderful life for family and friends on June 7th, 2024, from 4-6 p.m. at Wish Well House in Downtown Georgetown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
