Our most sincere condolences to the Crandall family. Ann, as well as Doug, have always been joy-filled, committed, and wonderful human beings. Rest peacefully, Ann. We will keep Doing and your family in our prayers.

Ann was a true jewel in the world, and she certainly brought her joyous smile to mine. Everyone at the mall loved her and her infectious smile. She lit up the room with her humor and joy in life, and she will be sorely missed. She even outshone the jewelry she loved so much! She & Doug were the definition of a great marriage and I know that was her greatest treasure!

I am so sad Doug, I have no word to express how sorry I am. Ann was such a bright ray of sunshine in all our lives and she will be greatly missed. Whenever she walked into a room full of people the whole room seemed to light up and this put everyone at ease. The only thing I am thankful for is that at least now Lolly will have a friend in heaven and both of them can be reunited forever, laugh together and share their friendship for eternity. Everyone dies, but as long as we remember them no one is truly ever lost to us.

My most Heartfelt Condolences to the Crandall Family. RIP Annie. I am so thankful that you were in my life at the time. In a blink of an eye the people who meant so much are gone. You had a beautiful, meaningful life with the man that you adored. A Son that made you so proud, a daughter in law & grandchildren that gave you joy. I will miss your Christmas card/letters & pics, but most I will miss that beautiful YOU that is no longer here with us. You will never be forgotten. ???

My Condolences To The Family. Ann was my first co-worker when I joined the COA in 1976. She was a beautiful, delightful and wonderful person to work with. When the Water Division split into Customer Services & Line Maintenance, we went in different paths but our friendship never waived. We eventually both ended up at City Hall and it was always a cheer to see her with that big smile and those big blue eyes. Rest In Peace Ann!

Ann and Doug knew my wife Peggy before we married. We would meet occasionally and have lively conversations about politics, travel and animals. Both Doug and Ann were so intelligent and interesting to be around. We enjoyed our visits. I also knew Ann through her tireless and enthusiastic work on behalf of Public Employee retirees in New Mexico. Her excitement and dedication were inspiring and she was the heart and soul of the organization. Peggy and I were sad when they moved to Scottsdale as that meant less visits. The world is diminished without her in it. We will miss her.

I want to say that Ann Crandall was a special soul! She hired me for the Water Department back in 1992! I will never forget Ann with her beautiful smile and personality to go with it! She truly believed in me and everyone she introduced me to she made me feel so special and worthy! Then I realized that she makes everyone feel special!! I will miss you and always be grateful that you were a big part and inspiration in my life!! That's priceless to me! Rest in Peace my sweet friend! My condolences to your beautiful family!!

Ann was a wonderful supervisor, a great friend and one of my best friends when we worked together in the Water Department for the City of Albuquerque. Her positive, cheerful attitude and gracious treatment of customers and co-workers made her a pleasure to be around. I will always remember her as one of my best friends.

I never met Ann but was struck by her graciousness as we discovered our family relationship through Ann's grandmother (and my great grandmother) from Finland. The little I've read indicates she was a wonderful parent and friend to many. My deepest condolences to everyone.

Met Ann and Doug through Mark back in high school. Found out we had a secondary thing in common, I knew the family they purchased the Kirby house from ( and pool LOL ). Always made us feel like we were part of the family, really stood out to me. Peace and comfort to everyone Ann so greatly affected.

I'm deeply sorry to hear of your family's loss of Ann. I was a classmate of Doug's in high school, and I'm sad to say I never had the opportunity to meet Ann. From Doug's Facebook messages & sharing pictures of the family and their life together, I can tell he was very devoted to her. My thoughts & prayers are with the family.

Dear, sweet Ann was such a radiant glow of happiness, joy and fun. Merrill and I feel so very blessed to have known her the too-short time we did. We're forever grateful that Doug was successful in getting Ann to move to Scottsdale, and we continue to treasure our friendship with Doug now. God bless you beautiful Ann. We all love you. ????????
