In Taunton, Ann Crone, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2025. Ann is survived by her beloved husband Raymond Crone of Taunton. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Roland DeChamplain and Celia (Sullivan) DeChamplain. Ann was a lifetime resident of Taunton and educated in Taunton schools. She worked in healthcare, was a hairdresser, and later worked at the Taunton Antique Center. Ann enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses, antiquing, cooking, loved family gatherings, and above all spending time with family. In addition to her husband Raymond, Ann leaves her children Susan Correia of Taunton and the late James Monteiro. She also leaves her loving grandchildren Jordan Monteiro and Kara Seras of Taunton, her late siblings Celia Guillmette and Roland DeChamplain. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O'Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, September 8th from 9-10:30 am Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude’s the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11 am.
