Ann Paula "Nancy" Cusack

From when I was a little girl, I always felt good in Nancy´s presence. She was kind and gentle and - best of all - truly interested. I am sad to know that I will never again see her beautiful face at a show or gathering or get to have another moment with her. But boy am I glad she lived and that I have her example of how to walk through the world lovely. My deepest condolences to the Cusack family and to the many others who loved Nancy.

I met Nancy only once and she left an impression, it was at Fr. Bob Kennedy's 50th anniversary to the priesthood in 2009. Before entering the seminary, Bob dated Nancy. My Dad and Bob were classmates with Nancy's future husband Dick at Holy Cross. May she rest in peace and be rewarded for the good she did on earth.

As a fellow Piven mom, at one time Nancy and I were passing ships that waved and smiled to each other. She was always lovely.

Nancy was a dear friend of my mother, Alice Porell. They were in college together at Newton. They kept in touch pretty regularly through the years until recently. I believe Nancy also knew my father, Bill Porell, way back when. Deepest condolences from the Porell family to the Cusack clan.

My deepest condolences to the Cusack family on the loss of their matriarch. She seemed like a beautiful woman who loves her family dearly. I, for one am grateful to her for her children Joan and John who were such an important part of my childhood but to all of your family, I send my love.

What a wonderful woman to have raised deeply thoughtful, talented children who seek to improve the world. There is also no amount of mocha frappuccinos or hot fudge sauce that will ever be too much. If there's a Heaven, may there be copious amounts of both.

We so admired Nancy and Dick. May she be at peace.

What a woman! After reading this, feel like she's who comes through her visible, public kids' performance personas and the roles they choose, to those of us who don't know your clan. That old-skool catholicism, in which you grow deeper by offering your skills and abilities to those around you. By doing the work. By loving as much as you can. Congratulations to your family on the wonderful karma you all carry from such a great Ma.

I didn't know you at all, but your children have entertained me for years and seem like very decent human beings, so I can only assume you were an outstanding human as well. RIP

Your mother was my godmother and she was wonderful. Kept in touch with me over the years and especially when I needed her, when I was younger, she was there for me. She was a delight!
