DAVIS, Ann Bowles, 79, of Westminster Canterbury, formerly of Powhatan, passed away June 4, 2010. She was a teacher and librarian at Powhatan Elementary School for over thirty years. She is survived by her children, William Hunter Davis (Deborah), of Ketchikan, Alaska, and Nancy Davis Fines (Jay), of Ashland; sister, Grace Hannah Watkins (Watt), of Louisa; brothers, Hunter Stuart Bowles (Levon), of Mineral, and Knight Bowles (Linda), of Goochland; grandsons, Hunter and Taylor Fines; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at Norman Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Byrd Presbyterian Church, Goochland Va. Interment church cemetery. The family would like to thank all her friends and colleagues for their support during her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Byrd Cemetery or the Westminster Foundation.

To Ann Children, Stuart, Hannah & Knight ~ So sorry to learn of Ann's passing. I remember her well from our younger years at Byrd Church. She was a lovely lady. May all your wonderful memories enfold and comfort each of you in God's love.
