DePietro Ann C. 1927-2017 Ann C. DePietro (nee Cerra), 89, passed peacefully on January 1, 2017. Ann was originally from Dunmore, PA, where she was born and raised, then later was a resident of South Philadelphia with her beloved husband of 50 yrs., John Sr. They later became residents of Delaware County, PA. Wife of the late John Sr. Survived by: Loving mother of John Jr. (Michele), James (Suzanne) DePietro and Nancy (Cam) Capuano, Sister of Jennie Coar. Beloved grandmother to Michael (Cori) Capuano, Gina (Steve) D'Emilio, Christina, Matthew, Joseph, Sienna, Andrew and Olivia and great grandchildren Vinnie, Alyssa, Angela, and Ashton, sister-in-law Lois Fiore, many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was a special woman who would do anything for her family. She lived to hear about how each of our lives were going, and would share those stories with everyone she would meet. She was blessed with three children, eight grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren. She had an individual bond with each member of the family and was able to make each feel loved in their own way. Mom would share stories of her time working as a bookkeeper for John Wanamaker. As kids, we looked forward to those red Christmas boxes under our tree. In addition to family, Mom spent her time as a member of St. Johns's Widows Club in Wallingford, PA. Here she made lasting friendships. Mom lived the last year and a half at Manor Care of Wallingford. Here, she made many new relationships and touched the lives of many with her funny stories and ability to listen. Mom will be truly missed by those who loved her. Our hearts are broken knowing you're gone. You were a true, genuine lady. Your love was felt by all. You were like a Grandmother to my children, a friend to my dad, and of course family to me. I will miss your compassion, wonderful stories and just watching in amazement at how much energy you had. We were all so fortunate to have been part of your life. May you find peace, love, and happiness again with Mr. DePietro, I know he awaits you. God Bless, The Staropoli Family Beth, Nick, Austin, Frank, and Jamie

Saddened by your family's loss. How proud she was as her family continued to expand beyond her children to grandchildren to great-grandchildren. You have all been blessed.
