Ann Ramer Elliott

Ann Ramer Elliott (née Kennard), age 102, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, in Watsonville, California. Born on May 3, 1923, in San Jose, California, Ann lived a long and meaningful life marked by resilience, grace and a deep love of her family and Sunset Beach community.
Ann pursued her passion for music at San Jose State University, where she majored in Music. Her love of melody and harmony remained a constant throughout her life. Years ago, she found joy in singing with her local church choir – a cherished activity that reflected both her musical talent and her connection to community.
Ann was a devoted mother to Mark Elliott, Donna Elliott and Lori Elliott. She was also a proud grandmother to Kari Tripi and her husband Vinnie Tripi, and a loving great-grandmother to Jaden and Mason Tripi. Her family was the heart of her world, and she nurtured each generation with unwavering love and support.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Glen Elliott; her mother, Ann Kennard; and her father, Richard Kennard. A woman of quiet strength and enduring spirit, Ann was admired by friends and neighbors alike for her tenacity. She inspired those around her not only through the longevity of her years but with her unwavering presence and thoughtful nature. An avid reader, with an inquisitive mind, she also enjoyed traveling and found comfort in the beauty of classical music and opera. She found joy in life's simple pleasures.
Ann's legacy lives on through the generations of family who carry forward the values she embodied: love, perseverance, and grace. She will forever be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Santa Cruz County.
