On December 5, 1951, in Shelley, ID, Millie and Merlin Godfrey welcomed daughter Ann into the world. She joined her sister Gayla and brother Arlie. On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Ann slipped away peacefully with her eternal companion by her side.
She and her husband Linden farmed a 250-acre potato farm in Shelley, ID, for 30 years. They spent the last 20 years enjoying the snow-free winters and hot summers of League City, TX.They were happily married for fifty years.
Ann had many talents and shared them with those around her. She sewed, cooked, tap danced,toll painted, and gardened.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially riding behind her husband on their Harley Davidson Softail. She also enjoyed snowmobiling and traveling with her sweetheart. They visited Hawaii,Poland, Iceland, Latvia, and many places in the U.S.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Millie and Merlin Godfrey, and brother Arlie Godfrey.
She is survived by her husband Linden; son Bryan Fielding of Idaho Falls, ID, and his son Gabriel; daughter Kristine Fielding and her husband Hesston Hall of Humble, TX, and their son Dillon; daughter Carol Ann Astle of New York City, NY, and her children Hermés and Isabelle; daughter Katie Lords of Houston, TX, and her daughter Emma; and son Clayton Fielding of Las Vegas, NV.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
