Ann Gostomski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lambie Funeral Home - Philadelphia on Oct. 28, 2025.
Ann M. Gostomski (1927 - 2025)
We celebrate and remember with profound respect the life of Ann Gostomski, who passed away on October 25, 2025. Ann was an ambitious, creative, loving, and spirited woman. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 2, 1927, she embraced her journey with grace, resilience, and an undying love for her family.
Ann was a woman of many talents. She was an accomplished homemaker who turned everyday activities into art. Her creativity found expression in her painting, where she poured her heart and soul into each stroke, creating breathtaking paintings and portraits that will continue to inspire us. Her love for baking and sewing was reflected in the care she put into each pie and stitch. She was an avid reader and traveler, and her spirit of adventure was infectious. She was a woman of ambition, who after losing her husband at a young age in 1983, showed incredible strength in raising her family.
Ann's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to her son Arnold and a doting grandmother to Bill, Mary (Tom Tsouris), Sarah (Joe Coughlin), Justine (Dr. Doug Young), and Lauren (Maj. Lee Hardin). Her warmth and love also extended to her daughter-in-law, Kathy. She will also be sadly missed by her 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Millie Plisich, and her daughter, Mary Lattanzi. Ann's love and devotion to her family will forever be etched in their hearts. Her memory will live on in the stories told, the paintings admired, the recipes passed down, and the love she gave so freely.
Ann's services will be private per the family's request. She will be laid to rest in a private service at Resurrection Cemetery with her parents.
We invite all who loved Ann to share stories, memories, and photos on her memorial page. Please feel free to upload photos and leave comments. Let us join together to celebrate the remarkable life of Ann Gostomski, an extraordinary woman who touched and enhanced so many lives with her love, creativity, and spirit.
