Daniel Mathew

With broken hearts, we celebrate the life of Daniel Kulathoor Mathew, age 10, of Gwynedd Valley, PA, who entered into eternal rest on November 23, 2025. Though his time with us was too short, his presence filled every moment with warmth, humor, and boundless joy, touching every room and every life he encountered.

Daniel was unique in that he faced challenges that would have weighed heavily on many, but they never dimmed the brightness of his spirit. He navigated his life in his own beautiful way-with playfulness, goofiness, and laughter. He was a pure soul with an unconditional love for animals, especially his loyal dog, Willow. He loved sitting beside her on her bed, talking to her, singing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm," and sharing quiet moments only the two of them understood. "Old MacDonald" remained his forever favorite song, and he played it repeatedly on Alexa with joy.

Daniel was happiest at the farm, surrounded by horses, cows, and the many animals he cherished. His favorite was always "his" horse, and his biggest dream was to ride a real one; he proudly said he could do it, no matter what. Daniel's kindness, silliness, and tender way of caring for others made him truly one of a kind. He had an infectious smile that appeared easily and often, a smile that could soften even the hardest days.

Daniel was compassionate and deeply empathetic-he couldn't bear to see anyone sad, especially babies. His affection was instinctive and pure-a quiet reminder of what it means to love without conditions. Above all, his mamma was his world and his everything, and they were almost always bundled together. He was wonderfully goofy, funny, and silly with his family, and when he would crack up, the whole room would light up with pure joy. He taught us patience, resilience, kindness, and the simple beauty of being present. He was, and always will be, a pure soul-an angel who walked among us.

Daniel leaves behind a family who adored him, cherished him, and will forever carry him in their hearts. He is the beloved son of Lijoy and Usha, and the precious brother of Jacob. He is the treasured gift of his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He will also be deeply missed by his faithful dog, Willow.

A service to honor and celebrate Daniel's beautiful life will be held on, Friday November 28, 2025, at 8:00 AM at St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, Bensalem. All who knew and loved Daniel are warmly invited to join the family in remembering the joy, love, and light he brought into the world.
