Ann Graves

Ann Margarette (Constable) Graves, age 90, of Hartsville, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, December 8th, 2025. She was born in Cambridge, England, on November 4th, 1935. It was in England that Ann met the love of her life, Jeffrey When he was trying to steal her chips, outside the fish and chip shop. They were married on January 5th, 1957, and shared 68 years of marriage filled with love and companionship. Ann was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and nana. Her grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life, and her caring nature extended beyond family to the animals she cherished, especially her dogs. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Ann is survived by her beloved husband Jeffrey Graves; daughters Sharon Henry (Keith) and Joanne Graves; and grandchildren Colin Kerkmaz, Shawn Kerkmaz, Donovan Kerkmaz, and Phoenix Kerkmaz. She is preceded in death by her father, Reginald Constable; mother, Edith (Pond) Constable; and brother, Stanley Constable. A memorial service honoring Ann will be held at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. Family visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary of Mt. Juliet, an organization dear to Ann’s heart. Donations can be made at www.ofsds.org.
