John Brice Howe Jr., age 73, of Greeneville, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

His wife, Ann Howe, age 73, of Greeneville joined him and passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Brice and Ann were married on January 22, 1972 in Rogersville, TN. Brice enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and drag racing.Ann enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and helping other people. They were both saved at an early age. Both Brice and Ann loved to spend time with their children and grandchildren. They were members of First Baptist Church of Rogersville. Ann retired from Department of Human Services after 37 years, and served as Alderman of Rogersville. Brice retired from Holston Electric after 34 years.

Brice was preceded in death by his parents, John Brice Howe Sr. and Kathleen Barrett Howe.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Brice Howe; parents, JL Robinette and Wilena Ellis.

Brice and Ann are survived by sons, John (Katina) Howe and Brock Howe; grandchildren, Gavin (Chloe) Howe, Kyla Howe, and Levi Howe; Ann's brother, Ed Robinette (Ann Robinette); niece, Leanne (Chris) Lethco; nephews, Britton Robinette, Chase Robinette, and J Edward Robinette; and a host of extended family.

The family of Brice and Ann wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all of the hospital staff and Teresa Martin for all the care they have shown.

Visitation hours for Brice and Ann will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on their 54th Wedding Anniversary, Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Rex Cole and Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. Music will be provided by Burl Matthews. Graveside service will be held Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 am in McKinney Cemetery. Anyone who wishes to follow in the funeral procession is asked to meet at Christian-Sells by 10:30 am Friday.

Pallbearers will be John Howe, Brock Howe, Gavin Howe, Regan Singleton, Chris Couch, and Wayne McCracken. Honorary pallbearers Ed Robinette, Britton Robinette, Chase Robinette, Matthew Rutledge, Chad McClain, Scott, McClain, Harold Stanifer, and Danny Robinette.
