Elizabeth Ann Jackson, age 83, passed away at Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bells, TN, on February 27, 2020. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Rev. Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A Visitation for Mrs. Jackson will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Ann Jackson was born on November 20, 1936, in Haywood County. She retired from Wells Lamont Gloves as a supervisor and then began working at the Brownsville Funeral Home. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ. She enjoyed working in the yard, sewing, flowers, and especially took great pleasure in spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Albert Jackson, two sons, Lynn Jackson (Amber) of Jackson, TN, Keith Jackson (Tina) of Jackson, TN, one daughter, Della Jackson Davis (Wayne) of Brownsville, TN, one brother, Raymond Gaters (Carol) of Ripley, TN, two sisters, Moudie Mae Gaters, of Ripley, TN, Bernice Smith (Burgin) of Ripley, Tn,. She leaves a legacy of grandchildren, Carrie Anne Pridmore (Kevin), Rob Davis, Jr., Lyndsey Elizabeth Sharp (Clint), Cody Jackson, Jake Fain, and Megan Jackson, as well as seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther William Gaters and Lillie Mae Jacques Gaters, brothers Jerry Thomas Gaters, Luther Dean Gaters, Walter William Gaters, sisters, Lydia Dale Gaters, Lula Gaters and Peggy Louise Jackson. Memorial Contributions may be made to Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 544, Brownsville, TN 38012.
