Johnny Wilson, age 56, was born on May 3, 1969, in Nuremberg, Germany.  He passed away on February 23, 2026, at his home in Jackson, TN.  There will be an inurnment with Military Honors at a later date at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.

Johnny had a distinguished career as a truck driver for Tenn Cal, where his dedication and commitment were evident in every mile he traveled. In addition to his professional life, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating courage and discipline that defined his character.

Johnny enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish, finding peace and joy whenever he could spend time outdoors. His enthusiasm extended to football, a sport he enjoyed greatly, and he took delight in traveling, with special fondness for destinations such as Montana, Wyoming, and Utah.

Johnny is survived by his beloved mother, Ellen Sue Tillman, and his two sisters, Jackie Coburn of Brownsville, TN, and Tammy Beltran of Benton, AR. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember him: George McRae (Ryan), Tillman McRae (Kalyn), Madelyn Bradford, Lilly Waddell, Ava Wilson, Averitt Wilson, Jackson Powell, Paige Crown, Haydee Rodriguez, and Jaslynna Ortiz.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Lee Wilson. Johnny's departure leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be dearly missed. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories and hearts of his family and friends.  All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
