Throughout her career, Tina held many positions at several different companies. She served as personnel manager and in the accounting department at companies such as NCR. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Tina loved quilting, delving into genealogy, playing the piano and guitar, singing, as well as gardening and canning — pursuits that brought her comfort and allowed her to connect with her heritage and creativity.
Tina is survived by her son Donald Lyons and his wife Cindy of Dyer, TN; her sister Matilda Lyons and her husband Billy Joe of Florence, AL; her brothers David Hughes and his wife Kathy of Henderson, TN, and Bob Hughes and his wife Betty of Trenton, TN; as well as her grandson Matthew Lyons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leeman Edward Gray; her parents, Louis and Martha Hughes; her son, Robert Lyons; and her granddaughter, Valerie Lyons.
Tina will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and all those that had the honor or knowing her. The family requests memorials be made to The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-142.
