Ann P. Knight, 84, gained her wings on January 10, 2025. Born on September 6, 1940, Ann was the oldest of three children and the daughter to the late Amaflacky and Helen Peters. She retired from the VA Hospital, where she was employed as a clerk for many years.

As a devoted mother, Ann dedicated herself to nurturing her children and grandchildren. As quoted from her daughter Shiela, "she was a spitfire," always striving for the things she wanted. Although she was hard headed and stubborn, Ann’s presence brought comfort and joy to many. She was more than just a mother; she was a confidante, a teacher, a steadfast supporter and friend. She also found great peace in spending time with her dogs, Tara and Cuddles. Ann will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amaflacky and Helen Peters; sister, Susan Hall; and her grandson, John W. Hall Sr.

The legacy of her love will continue to live on through her children, Shiela Hall, Sheree Reiber, John T.R Hall, and William Hall. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Peters; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family invites those whose lives were touched by Ann to join them for a visitation to honor her memory on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to CNY SPCA.
