Eric George Morgan Sr died today from complications of Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 77.Eric served two years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. Additionally he worked many years at The Carrier Corporation as a welder. Eric earned two bachelors degrees in art studies from Syracuse University. One of his degrees was in photography. He was a collector of memories.
Eric is survived by his sister Eva Grist-Raymond, daughter Melanie Bowers (Michael), six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Eric is predeceased by one son; Eric George Morgan Jr.
Eric will be laid to rest at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery with a small family ceremony.
