Ann Lindblom Obituary
Ann was born February 8, 1939 in Viding Township, MN to William and Lillian (Reppen) Borgen. She attended Borup elementary and middle school and graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School in 1957. She graduated from Moorhead State College in 1961with a degree in Elementary Education. On June 4, 1960 she married Rex Lindblom in Perley, MN.
Ann taught 4th Grade at Lincoln Elementary in Moorhead and 6th Grade at Ben Franklin School in Grand Forks. Rex and Ann settled in Park Rapids where Ann had a home nursery school for many years.
Ann was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and was instrumental in getting indoor ice in Park Rapids. She was a longtime member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids. Ann loved spending time with family. She enjoyed her coffee group, playing cards, and traveling.
Ann is survived by her children, Barb Leatch of Arlington, TX, Bobbi (Pete) Girtz of Black Hawk SD, Nancy Lindblom of Fargo, ND, Tim (Lori) Lindblom of Park Rapids; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Borgen and Curt (Betty) Borgen both of Moorhead, MN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rex Lindblom; parents, William and Lillian Borgen; son-in-law, RL Leatch; numerous brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids with visitation for 1 hour prior. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM Thursday, October 16 at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids with a time of sharing at 5:30 pm.
