Ann Driggers Lynn

Ann Driggers Lynn, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.

She was born July 31, 1935, in Reidsville, Georgia, daughter of the late Lonnie Driggers and Eula Lee Ray Driggers.

Ann was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hamlet for more than 66 years. She was a dedicated business owner of The Christian Bookstore for 34 years. Ann was diligent to her work with the bookstore and served many congregations and customers during those years. Of her favorite things to do, she thoroughly enjoyed gardening, loved her flowers and cooking. Her family was her greatest treasure and she will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lamont Lynn; son, James Keith Lynn; and brothers, James David Driggers and Johnny Washington Driggers.

Left to cherish Ann's memory are her sons, William Steven Lynn (Betty) of Bolivia, NC, Phillip Wallace Lynn (Judy) of Hamlet, and Anthony Jarvis Lynn (Lori) of Rockingham; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Betsy Driggers Boutwell (Wayne) of Reidsville, GA, Susan Driggers McKenzie (Herman) of Cobbtown, GA, and Cindy Driggers Terry of Rochelle, GA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 1:00-2:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church, Hamlet.

The funeral service will immediately begin following visitation, at 2:00pm, with Pastor Larry Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Sandhill Road, Rockingham.
