Ann Marie (Marrone) McVay passed away early Friday morning, February 13, 2026 with her loving husband by her side. She was born in New Brunswick to Frank and Valentine (Benanti) Marrone and raised in North Brunswick. She resided in the home where she was raised, with her husband Michael and sons Matthew and Kyle.

Mrs. McVay was a graduate of St. Pius High School class of 1974. She worked at Motor Vehicle in New Brunswick. She then was employed by PSE&G in Linden as a Clerk. Ann Marie was a former Parsons PTA mom working at Sabella Park Pre-School and part of a small group of volunteer parents that helped build the North Brunswick Recreation Lacrosse Program.

Mrs. McVay was currently employed by The Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities for 25 years. She was also employed part time by the Township of North Brunswick Project LEAL and Summer Camp for 34 years.

Ann Marie was an active member of the Adam's AC Ladies Auxiliary and was also a member of Joyce Kilmer American Legion Auxiliary Unit 25. She served as VP of St. Peter's University Hospital Auxiliary and was one of the key committee members responsible for the infamous Pocketbook Bingo. She was Treasurer of the Brian Von Bischoffshausen Foundation and a longtime member of North Brunswick Lions Club.

Ann Marie loved spending time and holidays with her family. She enjoyed her trips to Cape May and Key West with her friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. She also treasured her beloved pets Pepper Ann and Bentley.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Frank and Valentine Marrone, her mother-in-law Sarah McVay and sister-in-law Maureen McVay.

Mrs. McVay is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael and by her beloved sons Matthew and Kyle. She is also survived by her two brothers, Frank Marrone and his wife, Rose (Fareri) and Richard Marrone and his wife, Fran (Sidotti), her brother-in-law Philip McVay, and sisters-in-law Sheila Wolk and her husband Michael, Maureen Calella and her husband Carmen and Dianne Strychowski, two step-sons, Michael McVay and his wife, Ellys and Scott McVay and his wife, Heather, granddaughters, Samantha McVay and Taylor McVay and her loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at GLEASON FUNERAL HOME OF NORTH BRUNSWICK 555 Georges Road in North Brunswick.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday February 19, 2026, at 9:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 AM funeral Mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Committal services will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
