Ann Mifflin Obituary

Ann Snooks Mifflin
05/23/1933 - 05/04/2025
Ann Snooks Mifflin died on May 4, 2025 at the age of 91. She was a beloved wife and mother, a loving grandmother, and a doting great-grandmother. She was the glue that held our family together. She was the most beautiful woman in heart, soul, devotion and dedication. She protected all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with tiger-like resilience and spirit while loving, supporting and nurturing them like only the strongest and proudest mother could. She was cherished by her family and her friends, and her ever present smile could light up any room. Ann was the epitome of beauty and grace unless she was attending a sporting event, and then her favorite pastime was berating the umpires and referees.
Ann was born in Beaumont, Texas. She married her high school sweetheart, Dee Mifflin Jr, on August 30, 1953, and they built quite a life together. Ann attended Lamar University, and Dee attended Texas A&M. They remained staunch Aggie fans for all their years together. Ann and Dee instilled the Aggie Spirit in their children as well and were immensely proud to say that all 6 of their children and 7 grandchildren attended TAMU. She and her husband, Dee were long-time residents and supporters of the Klein Community as well as active members of Prince of Peace Catholic Community.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dolly Snooks, her adoring husband, Dee, dear cousin Lily Painter, and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Mifflin.
Left behind to cherish her memory are 6 children, Steve, David and husband John Thompson, Randy, Kevin and wife Kris, Linda Corbitt and husband Clay, Amy Mifflin and husband Jackie Bowman; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Mifflin, Jeffrey Mifflin and wife Brittany, Matthew Mifflin and wife Christina, Kacey and husband Jonathan Tupa, Samantha Mifflin, Alison and husband Taylor Webb, Sean Mifflin, Laura Mifflin, Brady Corbitt and wife Chandler, Mason Corbitt; 4 great grandchildren, Thomas Mifflin, Lily Mifflin, Braxton Tupa, and Brooks Tupa. Also survived by brother, Danny J. Snooks and wife Margaret.
Visitation will be at Klein Funeral Home at 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Klein, TX 77379 on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5-8 pm. Funeral mass will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Community at 19222 SH 249 on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:30 am. Graveside service to follow at Klein Memorial Park 9712 FM 2920 in Tomball.

Anne will be greatly missed. My aunt Peggy Starkey loved Anne and their friendship to nearly the end was beautiful and wonderful. I am so happy that they were able to be there for each other the last 2 years. I always loved seeing the two of them together just having fun. I will miss Anne's beautiful smile, happy spirit, and fun sense of humor.

Our family, the Butch & Billie Jean Theiss family, loved Ann & Dee Mifflin so much. They shared so much over the years. Ann was such a comfort when we lost our Mother & was always so kind. She was loving & beautiful & a great friend to our Dad. Ann had a wonderful laugh and I will miss her so much.
