Ann Niedermann Obituary

Ann was born January 11, 1930, to Louis and Josephine (Hanousek) Skarda in Tama County, IA. She attended country schools through eighth grade. Later, she obtained her GED. Ann was united in marriage to Kenneth Niedermann on April 15, 1947, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tama. They made their homes on farms in Tama County. In 1978, they moved to Marshalltown until the time of their deaths. Ann worked at Younkers for many years until her retirement.
She will be remembered by two daughters; Delores "Dee" Pohle of Marshalltown, Elaine Niedermann of Marshalltown, two sons; Kenneth Niedermann Jr. of Denver, CO, Dennis (Judy) Niedermann of Colorado, Springs, CO, eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. In death, she will be joining her husband of 60 years, Kenny, a grandson, Johnny Pohle, a sister, Mary Lou Hala, and a brother, Charles Skarda Sr.
The family wishes to thank Grandview Heights Nursing and Rehab, Iowa River Hospice, and Anderson Funeral Homes all of Marshalltown for the love and care that they all showed Ann and her family in her final days during this very difficult time.

My parents and the Niedermann's had so much fun playing cards and just visiting together. Ann always called my dad Ludy and is the only person I ever heard call him that. After our families grew up and moved to many places we did not see much of them. Prayers to all of the family. Bill & Becky (Dostal)Faircloth
