Obituary of Ann Mary Poole
Ann Mary Poole, 92, of Clearwater passed away August 31 at her daughter's home in Gainesville, Florida. Born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Ann also lived in New Mexico, California, and Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Leone Bechaud, and her husband, Thomas Poole. Ann is survived by her children Vincent Poole, Hugh Poole, Katie Powell, Joseph Poole, and Molly Poole-Ronan; grandchildren Natalie Milanovic and Jennifer Fermin; Patrick Poole and Kaleigh Rottler; Kelly, MacKenzie and Kaitlyn Powell; Isabelle, Matthew, Sophia and Liam Poole; Grace, Emily and Mary Elizabeth Ronan; great grandchildren Silvija, Vladimir and Gavrilo Milanovic, Davin Stranger and Robert Woodle; Alice, Rowan and Genevieve Rottler.
Ann graduated from Marquette University in 1952 with a degree in English. Prior to marrying Thomas Poole in June 1958, she worked as a grade school teacher in Green Bay WI and Boston, MA. She was superbly able to be delighted by all the little joys that life offers. Broadly cultured and deeply religious, she shared with her family a love for music and literature, as well as an insatiable desire for beauty, truth, and justice.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Epiphany of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, and she will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
