Ann Press, 86 of Lakewood, New Jersey entered into God's Kingdom on March 9th, 2023. She was born on September 7th, 1936 in Aldie, Virginia to Odin and Dorothy Pierce Feaster.
Ann, a most loving and devoted: sister, mother and grandmother is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Janette) Press and Jansen (Jolynn) Press; daughter Jacqueline (Andrew) Berliner; granddaughters Holly (Dominic) Priore, Julie Press, Lindsay Berliner, Brooke Berliner; grandson, Benjamin Press as well as sisters Gina (Daniel) Stavitski and Georgia Fleming.
Upon graduation from Kean College with a Master's Degree in Special Education, Ann embarked on a lifetime of teaching Special Needs children as well as educating students at Barringer High School, and later finishing out her career at Brick Memorial High School.
Ann was truly a great woman, whose devotion and impact was not only felt by her family, but also transcended to that of her students. She loved spending time with her sister, Gina, as well as her children and of course grandchildren. She also loved animals caring for many dogs, cats, birds, and even a pet monkey, throughout her lifetime.
Her passing leaves a gap in the hearts of her loved ones, as her ability to provide, support, forgive and love will be forever ingrained in everyone she knew.
A private memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, March 13 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery, 1610 Allenwood Rd. Wall Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society hTTPS://donate.cancer.org.
